i have super dry + sensitive skin and this moisturiser (although on the pricier side) was the best ive ever tried! id totally recommend this to anyone and im looking forward to try more laneige skincare !! <3

Perfect moisturizer

I received a sample in one of my orders for this and it is AMAZING, I ordered the full size. I have oily acne prone skin and my skin loves this. I use retinol at night and this is the perfect moisturizer to sandwich. It's a little bit on the heavier side but it gives me a good glow.

Not worth it in my opinion

I tried to love this product. But it just didn’t react well with my skin. It caused tons of breakouts that were difficult to get to go away.

My Go-To Moisturizer

I have VERY sensitive skin and this is one of the few moisturizers that doesn't burn my skin when I put it on. I use this in the morning and evening and it keeps my skin moisturized without making it oily or clogging pores. I tend to get very dry/flaky skin on my chin, nose, and between my eyebrows and haven't had any since I started using this product. I initially tried it as part of a little travel skincare kit and will continue to use it as my go-to moisturizer. It doesn't clump up when I use it with my sunscreen and primer which is nice. Would definitely recommend! I'd try to travel size before getting the big one but that's just me. If you already have somewhat oily skin it may make it too oily just bc of the texture. However, for my dry skin it works beautifully!

Comedogenic?

I gave this product a try, thinking it would be a comparable and much cheaper alternative to the Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench moisturizer I’ve used for years. Conceptually they are similar products. But this product consistently caused congestion in my inner cheeks. I don’t have oily or even combination skin, my T-zone is as normal as the rest of my face. Looking at the ingredients, both glycerin and squalene are at the very top of the list. Those are heavy duty humectants by themselves, so the fact that they are both included at high concentrations makes me wonder if this product is too heavy for even normal skin types. Bummer, as I like the glow it leaves on my skin and it does an amazing job plumping up my fine lines. One other thing I’ll mention: this is a heavily fragranced product. It reminds me of fabric softener, that “clean laundry” chemical-y smell. There’s no mention of fragrance in the ingredient list, but there’s also nothing in the ingredient list that would cause such a heavy perfume scent. Not only do I not like the scent, but I question the brand’s integrity if they’re not disclosing something so obvious.

Second time purchasing this and I love it! Doesn’t leave me looking greasy, sinks in well and doesn’t irritate my sensitive dry skin.

I bought the refill pod only to learn that my original container wasn’t compatible. They changed this packaging over a year ago. Unacceptable that my only options are to waste product refilling by hand or pay extra for a new container

This is probably my favorite moisturizer. It really feels so soft when applying to your face and leaves skin feeling hydrated. I would be buying a lot more often if it was a bit cheaper, but it is worth it whenever I do get it.

Not for sensitive acne prone skin, but hydrating

Received this as a sample. I have dry skin, along with rosacea and cystic acne. This caused me to break out but I didn’t have any other reaction besides the break outs. Therefore I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone that has a skin type like mine

Not for acne prone skin. Very heavy/greasy feeling and made me breakout overnight into a whole cluster of pimples. Now I’m recovering from it trying to clear it before vacation. Do not recommend!

Stay away

ITS HORRIBLE. I'm putting 5 stars so someone will be saved & see this: I got a mini sample and i put it on and my whole face turned red & was burning. One of the highlights says "hypoallergenic" it definitely is not.
