Great First Step Cleanser

I've been using The Ordinary's Squalane Cleanser as a first step in my cleansing routine, and I really like it. My skin feels clean and hydrated after use and I feel it's helping my acne prone skin. I will definitely repurchase.

Great for dry mature skin

I purchased this since it was recommended through the TO questionnaire for my mature dry skin. I also liked that a reviewer mentioned it’s good at removing makeup. It does indeed! I’ve been using it for two weeks and like how my skin is thoroughly cleansed without being stripped of moisture.

Gentle face wash

I like how gentle this felt on my skin. It’s very simple and straight to the point. However, I don’t know if this is something I would immediately reach for.

Amazing formulation

I’ve been using this for over a month and I absolutely love it. It goes on as a thick cream and as you work it in it turns to almost a face oil. No need to use any kind of makeup remover this does it all! I was using Paula’s choice cleanser for years. This Ordinary cleanser is far superior.

worth every penny

I really love this product. I’ve tried a few from The Ordinary, but this one is my favorite. It actually reminds me of the Guinot Biologic facial wash. At 57, my skin has started losing its natural glow, and this is such an affordable way to add moisture back while also removing makeup. It’s an easy, no-fuss addition to my routine. P.S. I bought this myself, and I don’t usually write reviews, only when something is truly worth it.

Simple and effective

I am liking this cleanser a lot. It cleans away excess oil and light makeup well but is not drying. I will say I haven’t used it to remove heavy makeup or sunscreen, I use an oil cleanser first for that and then this one. It has no fragrance but I think one of the ingredients has a subtle smell, which I have smelled in other cleansers before too. It doesn’t bother me at all. Price is great!
