So so nice!!!

Love love love this stuff! It looks so nice on the skin, dries down so it doesn’t transfer, very skin like, a good medium coverage! My go to in the spring and summer months! I would give it 5 stars but the shade range is terrible and even the light can dry down dark so I can really only wear when I’m self tanned! Shiseido, make more shades please!!!

Honeymoon photo shoot worthy

I wore this for our honeymoon photo shoot in Maui recently. It perfectly fit the tropical sun-kissed vibe I was looking for. I looked radiant and natural. Plus with the high spf I felt safe under the tropical sun. The photos turned out to be so much better than my actual wedding ones in which I wore heavy duty foundation.

Loved it when it went on but it oxidized within half an hour. Smells nice.

this gives me dull yellow skin. you have to wait forever after the skincare products totally dry to apply this. Or your face sheds flakes insanely.

Excellent SPORTS BB Sunblock

This is a great ACTIVE BB sunblock. It stays put through sweat when on the beach, running, hiking, etc. and the protection lasts. It's more of a suncreen first, BB cream second so it's very watery in texture: you need to make sure your face is clean and ideally, fresh out of the shower to get it on properly. This is true of all sunscreens: most of the reviews I see bashing "white cast" and cakey sunscreens are due to user error, not the formulas. For instance, my husband, who does not exfoliate etc. and puts sunblock on dry, looks like a mime sometimes ;D

I have been trying to find something like this and waalaa!!!!! this is the stuff!! it has perfect coverage! color is beautiful! and to top it off, my daughter loves it too! and she is not easy to please, especially when it comes to makeup!! she is a glamour queen. big score, win, win!

Must Have for a Day Outdoors

This is my go to for days when I know I’ll be spending in the sun (ie beach, pool, etc). It’s great coverage, so you don’t need extra foundation or powder, and great protection from the sun w/ an spf of 50!

lifesaver

I have lupus which means I need daily high spf and I often need to hide bad rashes on my face. This has been a lifesaver for me for the past year. Super easy to apply, hides redness even without concealer and it’s much easier to blend than foundation. Plus gives me the spf I need. I hope this never gets discontinued. I use translucent powder to set and the compact version for reapplication during the day.

feels heavy

First of all, I love Shiseido as a brand, I think their non-tinted SPFs can offer pretty good protection. I have a fair-light neutral skin tone in foundations I usually purchase. The Light shade for this product runs SUPER pink and is not light enough for my complexion. If you are applying liberally for sun protection, it also feels very heavy, maybe due to being water resistant? In addition, Octinoxate 4.9% is a UVB filter, Titanium Dioxide 15.0% mostly filters UVB as well with minimal UVA protection. I would suggest using a full spectrum sunblock instead. UVA filters I usually look for are avobenzone (chemical SPF) and zinc oxide (mineral SPF). If you're looking at Asian sunblocks that aren't US FDA approved there's also other ingredients you might want to research. Shiseido products are also fragranced - doesn't bother my skin but I know it could bother others.

This BB cream is amazing!! I needed something that I could wear during the summer when it's really hot and this worked out perfectly! The coverage is so much better than I expected, especially because it is a thin/light consistency. It is well-pigmented and sweat-resistant, so it keeps my face looking fresh all day. Please never discontinue it!

DO NOT BUY

Honestly, if I can give a negative 5 stars I would. It creates a shell of pigment. It doesn't blend with the skin and gets on everything it touches. And the color doesn't match any skin tone. Worst of all, it's impossible to remove it.
