Is it the hair or the product?

I wanted to love this but I didn't like how it made my hair look. I have short hair and bangs and haven't found that my hair looks good unless it's straight. Maybe my expectations are too high considering my haircut.

im so glad i found this product! i have wavy hair with some curls and this product is amazing! i spray it on after i wash my hair while its damp and scrunch it and let it air dry. don't need much and its no sticky if you don't spray a ton. i go to sleep ones its dry and its even more wavy/curly in the AM. GIVE THIS A TRY!!

Must-Have!

By far the best wave spray I've used! I have finely textured thick hair, so it's hard for me to find products strong enough to work without weighing my hair down. This really brings out my natural wave pattern and gives a lot of volume! I have the best results when I spray it on damp hair, again on dry hair, and leaving my hair in a bun overnight.

Surprised how well this works on straight hair!

Wow, this really works! I have a shag cut with naturally straight hair, but I twirl curls into it to create texture. However they usually flatten by day two. Spray some of this in and section and twist my hair while I am doing make up and it is totally revitalized for two more days. Will repurchase!

Encourages curls, lasts all day, gets rid of frizz

I use this with the spray leave-in conditioner most of the time, but when I use it alone it does not dry out my hair. I am very used to salt-sprays, and I know that nothing inspires curl and spring in hair like salt. I use this in both wet and dry hair and I think it's great.

HAIR HOMICIDE

I'm giving this one 1 star just bc my hair was INSTANTLY damaged. So many dehydrators in this. I only got it bc it's GISOU and I mistakenly assumed it would be healthy bc of the brand and the price. NO. I've put so many oils, masques, serums, and treatments in my hair since and it's beyond repair. How can Gisou get away with selling this!?

Awful. It was an instant regret the moment I put this in my hair. My hair felt damaged! It felt dry and rough.

this smells good (not a strong scent and not too light), but honestly not sure how beneficial it is. it will help soften my hair and tame frizz, but it lasts maybe a minute. it does make my waves/curls comes out nicer (I'm a brown girl with typical Indian hair) but they don't hold and eventually completely frizz out. alterna haircare is better with taming frizz/waves/curls. but i do like how this feels in my hair. nice to have if you happen to get it as a gift but wouldn't buy full price for myself, when there's much better brands with better spray. the hair mask/oil with this brand is worth spending money on

Dry and tangled

This does add some waves but it will leave your hair EXTREMELY dry and tangled… second ingredient is denatured alcohol. I tried the Shu Uemura wave mousse after this and like that a lot better

Smells pleasantly and subtly sweet, not too strong like Ouais or PHD, this is a big plus. True that it doesn’t weigh hair down and adds texture. But not as much as what other reviews said about giving waves to straight hair, But def some volume! A little pricey but one to keep!
