I was gifted by makeup forever. I actually really like this powder. it gives a beautiful blurred finish and sets everything down so nicely without feeling heavy. It’s very milled and it’s dusty. Like, open it too fast and it’s almost smokey. Still, the finish is worth it for me. Just be gentle when dipping your brush in.

Highly recommend!

Had a tiny sample of this that made me fall in love with how it felt on my face! So of course I had to order a full size! My skin tends to get oily fast but this makes my skin look and feel so amazing after applying! I also love how the inside has a soft cloth mesh type a thing that keeps the powder in place so it doesn't fall and spill allover the place. Highly recommend over many brands I've tried!!

This was a game changer for me. I was never great with makeup and then having to touch it up throughout the day, but this sets everything and it stays in place all day! No more worries about my make up coming off. Highly recommend.

Best Finishing Powder even for mature skin

Love this silky finishing powder. It has a matte finish and keeps my makeup intact. Doesn’t have any downsides imho.

Reformulated

This powder use to work so well for me and was the only setting powder that kept my skin smooth and matte all day long even in hot temperatures. I recently repurchased after running out of the one I purchased two years ago and my skin literally starts looking oily after an hour, it now looks grayish and leaves a splotchy look, and the flash back seems worse which has never happened. Such a shame it was reformulated and I hate having to look for new products

Best Matte Finish Ever… if you use it correctly

Best finish ever. I’ve used this NARS HD powder for YEARS both on myself and in my “tv kit” which I’d use for professional HD shots. A small layer applied last… repeat a small layer applied lastwith a is the Holy Grail for protection against shine and for minimal pores. I’m super fair, but I’ve recommended it for all skin tones… even on for men who don’t want their hairline to shinelight brush. The key is a light had and some experimenting. Think you’ll get white spots? Snap a selfie… if you reflect, you have used way too much. No biggie tho… just brush off the excess

I just switched to this powder from a pigmented powder and wow what a nice difference - it looks like just my skin but matte which hides a multitude of flaws.

THIS ISNT A SETTING POWDER! ITS A FINISHING POWDER

I’m just reading the reviews in complete shock like… why are yall baking with this? It says “finishing powder”. This is supposed to be used as the final step, before setting spray. You lightly use this powder with a brush on certain parts of your face, or the whole face. But LIGHTLY. It definitely helps blur imperfections and helps give me that matte look. I personally only use it on my T Zone since I have combo skin. And I use Black Opal finishing powder on my whole face because it’s my actual skin color and it definitely wont give me flashback. Either way, this HD powder is a great product when used correctly.
