I don’t understand the negative reviews. I have very dry skin so for me this is a true blessing. When I wake up my face feels so soft and truly moisturized, nothing rinses off, it completely absorbs into the skin, leaving behind beautifully soft cushiony skin. I’ve tried too many night creams to count, sure some were very good but nothing compares to this product. Your skin is noticeably plumped, smooth with lines diminished. This is for dry mature 50ish skin, you will love how this moisturizer performs, and most importantly your reflection in the mirror!

Terrible Smell

The smell is strong and intolerable. Somehow it reminds me of turpentine, and I do not understand how anyone can use this. I love the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid so I thought I would love this as well.

Instant results, even with unconventional usage

I got a sample of this with some other items recently and gave it a shot. While I like it as a night cream, I LOVE it using it in a way I’m not sure is intended. I use it as a night eye cream! I’ll start with some eye oil, then add a small amount of this cream (after warming it up on my fingers), then just a touch of my usual eye cream on top. I wake up looking amazing (instead of like a sea hag, which was what was happening before). It tightens the puffy spots, hydrates the dry areas (goodbye crepeyness), and seems to be helping with some age-related hooding. I know there’s an eye cream offered, but this is perfect for my needs.

Sensitive gals beware!

I received a sample. Used it last night and this morning I woke up to 3 pimples and an extreme eczema flair up. It’s a no for me!

It works

I have been using this for YEARS and always come back to it. For those who feel its thick and goopy- the smallest amount goes a long way. You have to scoop, then melt it on your fingertips by rubbing them together and it will melt right into the skin. Excellent firming/protective cream. Works immediately and with nightly use it transforms your skin. Its perfection.

PERFECT FOR DRY SKIN DURING WINTER

I love this cream. Once you get passed the strong unpleasant rose scent, it's a great cream. This is very thick, and petroleum jelly like, but better. It lasts all night for me and my skin wakes up feeling hydrated and soft . 4 stars because the price is heavy and I wish the fragrance was lighter.

Nope

This is like rubbing a glue stick or straight Vaseline on your face. Very sticky and uncomfortable. I also have sensitive skin and this burned once it sat on my skincare n for a few minutes.

Saves dry winter skin

This is saving my skin right now. Between the dry, cold air outside and the heated air inside, my skin would normally be very irritated and flaky this time of year. If your skin is in bad shape, no amount of makeup will look good. Just make sure you warm it up with your hands first before pressing onto your face. Then it will be easier to massage in. It soaks in but also leaves a thin layer on top which is what protects the skin. The scent once seemed strong to me but now I look forward to it. I guess because it works so well.

My skin is smooth & hydrated, but a thick cream

The cream works great! My skin is super smooth and hydrated. It is a thick cream, definitely for only night purposes. I give it a 4-star review because all of the cream doesn't absorb all into the skin. I wake up with a film over my face. Overall, I do recommend it despite how thick it is.

Very thick, suitable for winter (softens skins)

Consistency-wise, it’s as thick like petroleum jelly, and a small amount goes a long way. I haven’t noticed significant firming effects. It’s more suitable for hydrating and softening the skin’s surface.

I think i will try another

I actually don’t mind the smell and consistency but it does seem to sit on my face and then stick to my pillow. I think i will try another and see where i go because this is expensive

I have noticed a huge difference in my skin!

I have been using this night cream for the last week and I am impressed! Alone the consistency is thick and sticky but if you use the amount recommended and mix it with a face oil, it is PHENOMENAL.
