Excellent product

I hardly use self tan products - this is my second attempt - so I did a lot of research before I made this purchase. I’m pleased to say I am very happy with this product. The lotion is light and absorbs into the skin quickly. My skin feels soft and moisturised after application. It has a pleasant subtle fragrance too. The lotion doesn’t give you the sticky feeling nor does it produce the chemical smell of a self tan product (the first self tan I used did). Most of all, the self tan doesn’t rub off on my bedding which is all white. I applied the lotion to my face and the whole body and the next day I had a very light glow, not orangey. On the third day I applied another layer of lotion and for the following week I had a healthy looking tan. I’m in my early sixties, I don’t want to expose myself to any unnecessary sun so I believe I’ve found my go to self tan lotion in Clarins.

Lo esperaba mejor, el color que deja no es tan "natural" como proclama ser. Y tiene el mismo olor fuerte que cualquier tipo de autobreonceante, aunque esta descripto que no deberia tener ese olor.

Let me start by saying I used to use Clarins self tan all the time-about 15 years ago, and loved it! It had a nice brown color and was never patchy. Unfortunately, they must've changed the formula because I was really disappointed with this version of Clarins Milky Self Tan Lotion. Despite following the instructions carefully, I didn’t see much of a color change at all. The lotion was easy to apply, quickly sets in and had a nice light scent which was nice, but ultimately, it didn’t deliver the tan I was hoping for. If you’re looking for a noticeable tan, this product might not be the best choice.

Great smelling lotion (for a self-tanner)

Definitely the best smelling self tanner I have used. Fairly easy to apply but because the colour develops slowly it is difficult to see where you may have accidentally applied. Overall I am happy with the product though. I am fair and one to two applications per week after I shave gives me sufficient colour without it looking too fake (or orange).

Save your money

This product got high reviews that is why I bought it because of the reviews. Well its is streaky if you use it heavy and if you use it lightly you barely see color. This is nothing special about this product, you can save a lot of $ buying Jergens brand does a much better job. Very disappointed.

It doesn't stink! My search is over!

This stuff is amazing. I have a very sensitive sniffer and I finally found something that I love to use. I love the way it goes on smoothly and moisturizes my skin. The color seems to last for days. Well done, Clarins. I have a new fave!

My favorite self tanner! I hate very strong scents and though this one has a mild scent it doesn’t make you smell for several days like other products do. No streaks and I use a little of regular lotion to spread in, will last a solid week.

Smells nice, results not great.

Bought this from my local salon a while back - it smells nice but the results are really not what you would expect from a self tanner. I am VERY pale, and it made basically no difference to my skin colour. The little colour that was there, faded extremely fast. At this price point, it is really not worth it.

Great coverage and easy to put on, great for dryer skin. This my favourite self tan product for my skin.

Natural tan for fair skin tones

This is my to-go self tanner. It applies smoothly and doesn’t make my skin feel gross and clammy. With proper exfoliation prep, I’ve never had a single streak. I would imagine it would be too subtle for medium or dark skin tones, but for pale people this results in a perfect glow!
