Bad smell

Horrible smell, like others have said very fishy, also doesn’t do anything for my hair. I bought this from my hair salon in the past and it worked amazing and smelled great.

Smells like a can of tuna left in a hot car.

Oh boy, I had a stylist use this on me and it smelled FOUL. Like… uh… female body parts or a tuna can that’s been opened and left in a hot car for a couple hours. Kerastase, please pull this product.

Disappointing - doesn’t stop frizz

I was recommended to buy this by a salon - I was looking for a styling product to tame frizz. I was about to buy the new nutrisse oil for split ends but was advised against it as I don’t have split ends (it was the last bottle). I was also advised against any of the creams because they are all thermique - meaning heat activated and I never blow dry my hair. The receptionist recommended the fluidissime spray. It makes my hair sticky and doesn’t soften it. I always use masqueintense to condition but my hair needs a styling product for extra moisture and smoothing. My hair got really dry so I bought a hair oil by another make and have given up with the fluidissime spray. I was missold and feel the salon just wanted to shift the stock that they couldn’t sell. They had a lot of bottles on the shelf.

Disappointing

I bought this as it was recommended to me however it did not help my frizz at all. Was disappointed as it is one of the more expensive products.

Product has changed

I have used this product for over 10 years. My recent purchase is disappointing whilst it still works for me the new fishy smell is definitely off putting. I am currently looking for an alternative.

Smells fishy

I didn’t find that this made much difference to my hair and couldn’t get over the fishy smell. I stopped using it due to the smell.

Re-purchase

Been using this for years; helps my natural curls avoid frizz.

Don't waste your money!

I don't know how this has so many good reviews. It doesn't smell good and it doesn't work. For the price it should at least work. It comes from China so let that be your first clue.

Smells awful

This smells horrible. Like ammonia and I don’t think it makes my hair less frizzy. Would not recommend or buy again.

Perfect for my hair!

I have long hair and very little patience when it comes to styling. I love products that are quick and easy to use. This one is perfect, when I just want to blow-dry hair quickly and not worry about the frizz. I find the Discipline range is gentler compared with the Genesis range, I use both depending on the result I am after.

Love Kerastase, except this product. My hair is thick and fine. It didn't offer any slip or smoothing when blow drying. Hair felt very stiff and dry, no movement. I will go back to their Resistance Hair Serum for Extremely Damaged Hair.
