Versatile warm palette

I never write reviews, but I have to for this product. I hesitated to buy this because it is a pricey palette. I finally gave in and bought it. I love this it so much. I like that the eye shadows are not too pigmented, but each is very unique. The colors blend very well and are versatile. The colors complement me very well.

Not worth it.

Not at all what I expected. I got help picking this out in the store and because of COVID wasn’t able to take a swatch. The colors have little pigmentation and do not blend well. The shimmers are like literally apply glitter to the lid. Absolutely not what was expecting. The brushes, although good idea, have horrible bristles, they feel like the cheap plastic ones that come with dollar store kids makeup kits. I tried to use the brushes and the eyeshadows and it was a total fail. I’m giving it 2 stars but only because the mirror is surprisingly big for the size of the actual packaging.

easy to build!

This is for the blue palette. These shades are not as pigmented as has been trending. I think it allows for a more subtle look, appropriate w givenchy’s philosophy. They’re not gonna make palettes that are screaming bright colors. The colors are easy to build up and blend beautifully. 4 stars only bc of the pan size- a tiny bit bigger would have been nice.

Alta pigmentacion y durabilidad. Compré la 9.01, y aunque los colores me gustan y creo que vale para invierno y verano, quiza me habria ido mejor la de tonos marrones.

This is a great pigmented palette. Lasted 14 hours and the pan sizes are just large enough to get your brush in. I use my own brushes instead of ones that come in compacts. I know there were some negative reviews, but I had no trouble with mine. Not subtle at all. I wear very bold eye looks with PM and ND and this performance is every bit as good.

This is a beautifully done palette. I own 9.04 and 9.05 and I wear both equally the same. What I love about them is that they’re so easy to blend and build color. I can do a softer look, and I can do a look that’s a bit bolder. I’m in my 30s and work in hospital administration, so the lighting at work is never flattering. But these shadows help my eyes pop and look beautiful no matter what lighting I’m in. For my job, it’s important I don’t look overdone (think INTENSE IG makeup, that’s a no no here) so this gives me a good amount of color intensity and payoff without looking too “loud” I also enjoy the finishes, and the brush connects to turn into a dual brush which is neat. If you like CHANEL eye quads, you’re really going to like these!

Oh well ...

I was hoping for so much more from this high-end palette. Alas, the most of the shades are not very pigmented and unremarkable. The purple looks great in the palette, but goes on barely purple. The bright silver is very pretty, but I have other silvers that are just as good. The formulas are fine, but, overall- nothing worth keeping here.

Wow. Who even passed these promo shots. These eyeshadows LOOK a powdery. And maybe they were trying to be different by releasing a Estée Lauder gift with purchase dupe circa 2006 but these color schemes— every single one, are hideous. They even look horrible on each model! Not to mention they are totally fall palettes. Lol oh and that rinky dink brush. Can’t wait to see the 600 reviews roll in come 3 days of how beautifully pigmented the shadows are, how they really do last 12 hours, and the color stories are “so unique!” It’s like Sephora.... come on. We’ve all caught on by now. This is a prime example of a company releasing a low grade product in every aspect and expecting/banking on people buying it and gifting it because of the name— Givenchy.

Returned both palettes that I bought.........

I got both 9.05 and 9.02 and was very disappointed in both and returned both. I actually appreciate less pigment sometimes which is one thing I like about many of the "luxury" brands but this was really bad. What looks like a pretty blue or purple went on with a pitifully weak swipe of a greyish muddy shade and the topper shades just laid down a faintish puff of glitter. A couple of shades in each palette were really great and one of the shades was super pigmented (standard bronzey shade) but easily replaceable from other palettes that I own. The color stories are so interesting though but there just isn't enough going on here to do the extra work these palettes would require. These palettes have truly taught me how different something can look in the palette versus the eye.
