Best I’ve found, and I’ve been using this exclusively now for years.

Clean and fragrance free!

I love this shampoo. It cleans really well without perfumes. Literally every other hair/bath product has fragrance, this one is so refreshing. Please make in a larger/refill size, the 8oz bottle is a lot of plastic!

Super Drying

I had such high hopes for this - it's fragrance and oil-free and doesn't have a long ingredients list. Also, there's nothing I'm allergic to. It is gentle, but unfortunately, it's sooooo drying. After one use my hair and skin were dehrdrated and itchy. I tried it a few more times, but each time was worse. This would be good for sensitive, oily hair and skin. I wish The Ordinary could make a comparable cleanser for dry skin.

Dont use if u have cocamidopropyl betaine allergy

Just in case you’re trying this shampoo bc of the minimal ‘clean’ ingredients but you are allergic to cocamidopropyl betaine, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT PUT THIS SHAMPOO ON YOUR HEAD. The allergic reaction I experienced was HORRIFIC and lasted for days, even after I rewashed my hair with a safe shampoo 3 hours after using. I knew it was a shot in the dark trying as it has SLES and I was hopeful maybe it was derived from palm oil instead of coconut oil but I was wrong, so very wrong. Coconut allergy peeps this shampoo ain’t it! My hair did feel very soft and clean however my entire body from my scalp to my legs was burning fire so I couldn’t really enjoy the effects of the shampoo.

Too harsh for dry hair

My hair is thick and on the dry side. I’ve found this shampoo too harsh - it’s impossible to work it down to my scalp, or massage my hair at all without diluting it down with warm water first. The conditioner is so rich (which is great) that it balances out the end result, but it’s hard to use and I won’t buy it again

Not my favorite

My dermatologist recommended this while we were trying to figure out my skin problems. While this shampoo minimized skin reactions, it doesn't feel all that great on my hair - it's difficult to get a good lather and it makes my hair super rough after rinse-off. I end up using way more product that any other shampoos and often have to apply it twice to get a good clean feel.

Shiny

I hqvenot used this on my body but i have been using this on my hair. My hair looks shiny and feeels great. My scalp.and hair feel that its had a good squeaky clean. Will buy again

Great shampoo and conditioner

So pleased with this, I was struggling with my hair getting greasy after a day, this shampoo and the conditioner have been brilliant. My hair also feels fuller and much better condition. Really pleased and would recommend.

Wish I could have liked it, but it caused a rash.

I had high hopes for this shampoo because I love The Ordinary's facial care products and it was fragrance free. Unfortunately it caused me to break out with a rash pretty badly on my scalp and back. It was also very drying on my hair, and it kinda felt like straw, which was not improved with the conditioner (reviewed elsewhere). I'm sure this is the perfect product for someone else, but it certainly wasn't for my suddenly sensitive skin.

Cleaner than Your Grandmas Fine China!

I am OBSESSED with this cleansing hair and body product. I have allergic reactions to everything. Especially the bleach my stylist uses to color my hair. For this, my oily scalp becomes flaky, my hair becomes greasy on top and dry cracked ends on bottom. This shampoo completely changed the game for me on all aspects. I usually have to untangle my hair and it breaks off after a wash. Not this time. My scalp felt so so clean, my ends looked lively again for the first time in years, and my hair felt light and clean. No longer heavy and dull from my other VERY EXPENSIVE products I usually use. It’s also amazing on my body. I can use this as one body wash when usually I have to use 3 different products in the shower. LOVE IT!!! THANK YOU ORDINARY for always bending around the curve of the usual products we see today.

Multitasker

I bought this about a month ago, it’s a great multitasker. It can be used as shampoo and shower gel, but it’s also great as a face cleanser to get rid of the annoying bumps underneath the skin

Full body wash

I recommend this product for people that are looking for one solution body and hair without much expectations. Ideal for the gym. It is unisex without a particular perfume. If you are demanding about your hair scalp and looking for a specific shampoo, this is not for you.
