I’m so glad I found out about this serum. It’s a game charger! I suffer from dandruff and have Sisterlocks, which I’m currently restricted from using products like oils, grease, and conditioners since they’re fairly new. This serum isn’t oily at all (for me) and keeps the flakes away. I have one area in the front around my edges where the flakes are worse and this has cleared it up since using it. 10 out of 10, would recommend!

This is the only scalp treatment I’ve been able to use that doesn’t give me bad dandruff or leaves any nasty residue. It’s moisturizing without making my hair feel greasy. It really does bring your scalp back to life. I hope The Ordinary never reformulates or discontinues this

Oily! Not for every kind of skin!

I tend to have oily scalp so i wash it every single time with a specific shampoo and i'm afraid i can ruin or dry too much the scalp, so i was looking for a light hydration as it said on the product. It's a mess on me! i woke up with a super oily scalp and i have to wash my hair again, plus if some drops touch the hair it become very frizzy! so oily and frizzy together. It says on site for every kind of skin but i would definitively change it in just for dry skin!!! I absolutely not recommend this product if you have not a very dry scalp...

I tried this product to help with my extremely dry scalp during the winter, but unfortunately, it only made my hair feel more oily and greasy. For context, I struggle with dandruff that worsens in the colder months, so I was hoping this would provide some relief. On a positive note, it does offer temporary hydration, but it wasn’t enough to address my needs.

Ive been fighting an itchy scalp, i used a hysrocortisone topical to control the itching. It was not doing much for the dryness and tightness id feel on my scalp that led to the itching. I was sick of trying different oils that didnt moisturize my scalp and didnt want to have a greasy oily scalp. Im so glad i came across this. THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT LEAVE A SHINE, is quickly absorbed, relieved my tightness, dryness, itchy scalp and the flakiness. i love it so much i wont even drop a star for the less than perfect application(the drops run down my bald head before i can set the applicator down and rub it in)..THIS PRODUCT HAS BEEN GOD SEND. dont ever discontinue.

My only complaint is that it doesn’t come in a bigger bottle.

Not for my scalp and hair type

Unfortunately not working for me. I have dehydrated and slightly itchy scalp so was looking for a bit of moisture. No effect after 1 bottle and it does makes my hair greasy - I have a dehydrated wavy hair.

This was disappointing. Unlike other similar products, this one left buildup in my hair. It also didn’t moisturize my scalp as well as expected.

I had to return this after it made my scalp extremely flakey and way more itchy. I had huge chunks of dandruff falling out. I bought this because of all the good reviews and my hair has been super dry but it was horrible. sure

I love how thin this serum is and how effective it is. It’s hydrating, doesn’t cause build up and is great for my dry scalp. It’s at a great price point too and I feel I can use it liberally.

Dry scalp cure

I am obsessed with this. I have bad scalp psoriasis and haven't found anything that can help it besides steroids, which I try to avoid. I have only used this for three days and the build up is gone and my head isn't itchy like it was, I am so happy I tried this. I have also been using it with the Ordinary shampoo and conditioner. If you have psoriasis or just a dry scalp, you NEED this!
