My Holy Grail!

This shampoo is my holy grail and I will be distraught if they stop making it. I have very fine hair and it has always felt far too slick, in a bad and very flattening way. I got a sample of this years ago and it was magic! My hair would finally hold styles and actually looked good being worn down, instead of looking like a limp mess. I've never had an issue with my hair feeling too tangly, especially since they changed the formula, but it may be down to my routine. I use one of those silicone scalp massages to distribute tune shampoo, only running back and forth, not in a circle. I rinse with cool water, then dry with one of those hair towels that doesnt tangle. I spray a leave in conditioner on just the very tips and use a wet brush to comb it through. After this, my hair feels soft, lightweight, and volumous. Best of all, I don't have to wash it so much as with other shampoos. I've tried this routine with other high end shampoos, like living proof, drunk elephant, etc, but my hair texture still ends up way too slick. Christophe Robin is truly my holy grail.

Please bring back the cleansing purifying scrub!

I used to use the Christophe Robin cleansing purifying scrub. It was amazing! I was so sad when I couldn’t find it anymore so I got this one instead hoping it would be the same. It isn’t. This one is awful. It makes my hair feel dry and frizzy and makes it so tangled. And it doesn’t even feel clean. I’m so disappointed. The original cleansing purifying scrub turned into a wonderful lather, smelled great, and made my hair and scalp feel so clean without feeling stripped. Why would that ever be discontinued?

I started with a sample of this and immediately bought the full size. I have a dry scalp around my hairline and this is so helpful without being scratchy or drying.

I have used Cleansing Volumising Paste from Christophe Robin for several years now. I always repurchase. It takes very little product to lather and clean. Two reasons I love it are: it creates volume at my roots. My hair is a bit fine and this helps it to not look flat. Secondly it cleans so well I can get an extra day or two out of my wash. That has helped my ends become more healthy as they are not dried out from overwashing. Love this product!

Do Not Buy This Shampoo! Horrible!

If I could rate this product a -5, I totally would. This is literally the worst shampoo that I have ever used in my entire life. I used it exactly like the directions and it pulled all the oil out of my hair and left it completely matted while it was soaking wet. On top of the horrible matting was a nasty film left on my scalp and hair that I tried rinsing out over and over again. I had to shampoo my hair twice after that to see if I could get the residue out. It was awful! I then slathered a huge amount of conditioner in my hair to see if I could work a comb through my hair. I honestly don't know what this stuff is on the market. It is the worst product I've ever tried.

Messy hair and adds frizz

My hair just looks messy after I use this product. It adds a lot of frizz in the name of volume! And my hair smells disgusting as soon as it dries. My husband who never notices anything actually asked me why my hair smells so bad. Please do not buy and waste money on this

Worst shampoo I've ever used

I bought this product hoping the bad reviews were wrong, but this shampoo is truly so disappointing. My natural hair is normally very smooth and thin, but this shampoo completely dried it out. I followed the directions on the bottle and emulsified it into my hair. It left my hair feeling dry, staticky, knotted, and texture almost like plastic. It’s too bad because it did give me some volume, but probably only because it knotted it up so bad. Maybe this shampoo would be better for people who have super oily hair, but if you have normal/dry hair this is definitely not for you

In my opinion, the only reason this gives you volume is because it adds knots to your hair. If you don't like Rose, skip this.

Best Volumizing Shampoo Ever!

I received a sample of this wonderful product but looked at the granular formula and waited quite awhile to try it. When I ran out of my usual Olaplex I decided to try this I was truly surprised by how little one needs for a thorough shampoo! Just keep massaging the grains into your scalp until they are fully emulsified. Rinse and dry. Wonderful volume! I'm using this shampoo for the rest of my life!

I don’t understand why this doesn’t have at least 4 stars because I love this scalp it makes your scalp clean and smells fresh like roses

This is a 5 star shampoo that gives flat straight hair volume for literal days. It was a game changer for me and I’ve now bought several more as gifts. Everyone with flat hair- holy grail.
