Absolutely love the scent of this. It’s fresh with just the right amount of boldness to stand out and get noticed. It’s also long-lasting without being overwhelming. Perfect for any occasion, and the fragrance notes are right to what’s promised. The packaging is elegant and modern, and overall, it’s a great value.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Acqua Di Gio has always been one of my favorite scents and the elixir version only elevates it. It has a strong throw but is still subtle enough that it doesn’t overpower. I find my self using it both in day to day and for formal events. The bottle has a magnetic top which is a nice touch as well. It will be my go to cologne from here on out.

A must have summer Fragrance

Where the original was light, breezy, and aquatic, Elixir leans deeper, darker, and more intense, offering a rich, luxurious twist on a beloved classic. Scent: The opening hits with a fresh burst — think bright citrus, green notes, and a slightly herbal edge. But almost immediately, a deeper warmth starts to build: rich woods, smooth amber, and a hint of smoky incense. The aquatic signature is still there, but it’s now wrapped in layers of earthiness and sensuality. It’s fresher than most “dark” fragrances but deeper than typical summer scents. Perfectly balanced. Performance: Outstanding. On my skin, Elixir easily lasts 10-12 hours, with a strong but not overpowering projection for the first few hours before settling into a very elegant, lingering trail. This isn’t a “spray and disappear” scent — it sticks around and evolves beautifully. When to Wear: It’s incredibly versatile, but it truly shines in the cooler months, evenings, and special occasions. Best Ever!

My go to everyday fragrance. It's good for summer months or cold winters. I get so many compliments wearing this Aqua Di Gio!

Great everyday wear

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I always enjoy the simplicity of Acquas bottles. Being a big fan of the original back in the day I’d say the Elixir is pretty similar. The scent is very strong at first but balances out within the hour. The scent is clean and perfect for everyday wear.

Great bold smell, and super long lasting

I woke up and still was smelling like Elixir, so it lasts very long. The bottle is great and I love the magnetic cap it makes the experience top tier. The boxes packaging made for a great unboxing experience.

Not impressed

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Acqua di Giò Elixir is closer to a 3.5/5 than a 4. It delivers a crisp aquatic scent with citrus. It’s polished and fresh but fades in 3-4 hours, underwhelming for an elixir. decent pick but was expecting better.

There’s a subtle sweetness balanced by a resinous richness that gives it that “elixir” depth—definitely more intense and long-lasting than the original. It feels modern, sensual, and effortlessly masculine. What I love most is its versatility. It’s fresh enough for daytime but rich enough for an evening out. The performance is impressive—on my skin, it lasted well over 8 hours, leaving a warm, elegant trail. Overall, Acqua di Giò Elixir is a refined, powerful fragrance that blends freshness with depth. A great choice if you’re looking for something timeless yet bold.

Good but not great

I am very surprised by this scent only because I expected so much more coming from one of my favorite original colognes. The combination is well put together with the top notes being bergamot, mandarin and nutmeg. It's light and citrus like which is followed up by middle notes of violet leaf and water notes. The problem I think stems from the base that punches a leather, pachouli, vetiver, and labdanum combo at the end. It turns from light masculine to heavy too fast for me. Maybe it is my skin type where it smells that way, but I'm stuck with how the leather stands out too much. Good but not overall great for me.
