it's not for me

The perfume is not to my liking, its smell seems very invasive as too strong and also sweet and as the day goes by my pH makes it sweeter; the truth is not for me.

I remember my aunt wearing this when I was a kid in the ‘90s. I always loved the way she smelled and in my late teens I started wearing it too. I’ve gone through phases where I’ll wear other scents over the years, but this is the one I always come back to. It’s very nostalgic for me because of my positive memories with it, but it’s also just an amazing perfume. It’s so unique and distinctive - I ALWAYS get compliments when I wear it, from men and women. And women will want to know what it is. There’s nothing generic or common or forgettable about Amarige. It’s warm and sexy and timelessly elegant, like no other scent I’ve smelled before. Plus, it lasts forever and all you need is one spritz. Honestly, I don’t even know why I bother trying other fragrances - this one will forever be my favorite.

Sexy sensual tuberose

One off the utmost sexiest yet classy scents I've ever smelt and I've been a perfume addict for 30 years. I fell in love with it when it was first released and bought it immediately. I am an addict though so I switch to many perfumes but this one is my favorite, hands down! Lasts long and you don't need much at all to turn heads all day and night while that (once forbidden for being so sexy) Tuberose makes them all go wild.

Distinct and Distinctive

I love this scent! It smells slightly different on each person, so it is like having my own personal perfume.

Amarige

Amarige is definitely best for Winter and colder months. One or two light sprays like inner elbows or back of neck is enough. A heavy scent and it packs a punch! I smell Gardenia and musk the most. If you don’t like the flower this will NOT be your cup of tea. A bold scent. Very lovely and expensive smelling. Also, not for teens or young adults. In my opinion because of the heaviness of this perfume. All in all if worn in the colder months with a light hand, very very beautiful!

Sensual and feminine

I.LOVE.THIS.PERFUME. I own many perfumes, but this is by far my favorite. I have been using it for years (since 1997 when I was in my teens haaa), and I wear it almost all the time, especially during winter. It smells great, there's something very sensual, almost magical, about this sence. Very strong, exotic, feminine... Wear it if you want to make a statement!

I’d get rid of them all for this. It’s amazing.

The scent from my youth!

Amarige!!! What a beautiful scent! I wore it on my wedding day (20 years ago) and every time I smell it, it reminds me of that day! Unfortunately, four pregnancies made me ill and unable to even be around perfumes for a long time but now that my kids are older, I have come back to this warm, beautiful and sexy scent. It has become a classic and it is one of those scents that is often associated with memories. This scent has stood the test of time and is still beloved by many. I love all 3 phases of this perfume top, middle and bottom. On my skin, it evolves from bright and floral to warm and spicy. It is not an everyday scent, in my opinion, so I only use it for special occasions. A little goes a long way with Amarige (at least on me). This is a scent that has a lot of projection and since I prefer scents that stay close to me, I only spritz my wrists with Amarige...Since perfumes are a very personal experience, it is always best to test it first. I recommend Amarige if you like warm florals that evolve into spicy scents.

Long time fan

This has been my favorite perfume for 20 years. I'm so happy that Sephora carries this fragrance. They made it easy to find.

Test in person

I hated the smell of this!! First off gave me a nasty migraine. It is a very heavy smelling fragrance.It smells like something a older person may like.My husband asked me when he got home.. What is that smell??!!! I couldn't wash it off fast enough. If you do like it.. one plus would be the smell lingers for a long time. I could still smell it on my The next day!! To each their own.

DO NOT BUY IT FROM SEPHORA

This is a fabulous perfume, that is horrendously overpriced at Sephora. You can get a bottle twice as large somewhere else for the amount they are charging. Google it and go elsewhere, don't make my mistake!
