LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

I love this product. I was skeptical in the beginning because I have the peeling solution. I do not use this when I use the peeling solution. Now my face is smooth and decongested. My skin tone is more even now than it ever was.

Only meant for a certain type of skin.

I got this for my daughter and it was definitely not meant for young skin. It smelled kind of like fish, but I know that's just the ingredients. She said every time she used her face would sting. She didn't use it long enough for there to be permanent damage or skin, but I would not recommend for people with young skin. I gave it to my mom and she uses a lot but she says it also doesn't work that well. I don't think it's one of the ordinary best serums but I do like some of the products I wouldn't recommend this one unless you are struggling with bumpy skin.

Caused Breakouts After a few Uses

I used Lactic Acid three times, and unfortunately, my face broke out with small pimples. I previously used Peptide + Copper and Vitamin C + F serum without any issues. However, now I’ve started using Lactic in the night and Argireline and Copper in the mornings, and I’ve been breaking out.

Womp womp

Idk. I’m almost down with my bottle and I do not feel or see a difference. I have never had a burning sensation or anything at all. I feel like it was a waste of money

This is my third bottle. I love it. When I started using it, it definitely burned a bit, but is just until your skin gets used to it, if you have sensitive skin mix it with a moisturizer. This is an AHA so make sure you mix the right ingredients so you don’t kill your skin. It cleared my spots, even my skin tone and give me a good glowww. Forever in my skincare routine

I think it might be doing something to help… It’s hard to say, but it stings so it must be doing something!!

Smooth out skin texture 

This is my second time buying this product because it works so well. I wouldn't say it clears up acne, but it definitely gets rid of uneven skin texture.

So far, so good. I know I have very sensitive skin, so I used this in combination with the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Oil Control Serum, left it on for less than 10 minutes, then rinsed it off before putting on my usual face cream. Yes, it was itchy and stung, but I always expect acid serums to sting my skin. It wasn't unbearable, but I also knew I had to rinse it off to keep my face from reacting too badly. But after using it in the evening, I wake up the next morning with the most absolutely smooth skin. This includes the really rough, dry patches I had on my forehead and next to the corner of my mouth. I personally would only use this once a week, since I feel this stuff is pretty strong. I probably would suggest the 5% lactic acid solution if I wanted to use more frequently.

The only product that works

The only product that seems to work for me in terms of smoothing my skin and reducing imperfections. Swear by it. I have tried other acids and nothing has worked like this.

As a 58 year old woman this is the best exfoliating product for me. No irritation, skin feels smooth and hydrated. Excellent product.

I liked it but not on dry skin.

I used all of it and I liked it but probably it was too much for my skin at the time I was very dry and I think if I would use it when my skin was normal again I would enjoy and see the benefits better, my skin type is oily but I was dry because of the weather in nyc

it's a keeper

I've been using this product every morning for over three years and the funny thing is that I recently realized that in the three years every single other product in my skincare routine from my shampoo, body lotion and washes and everything in both night and my daytime routines have changed often except for this. It's never even occurred to me to try to find a replacement! It's so gentle yet keeps my skin exfoliated, soft, glowing and hydrated. This realization lead me back to the Ordinary and Niod to try many of their other products hoping to find a few more keepers.
