This foundation is very unique. The ingredients make my skin so soft after wearing this, because it feels like a natural and hydrating cream, not foundation. For that reason i love this a lot. What i don’t like about this is the thickness, it’s way to thick and when i apply it on my face it ends up looking cakey and it actually makes my dry skin looks bad, sits on top of my skin and does not blend in. The biggest trick to this foundation is to make it more thin by mixing with your fav face oil. It transforms this foundation and it looks amazing on the skin. This foundation will last me a long time because you only need so little for your whole face. Overall, i think this is an amazing foundation for dry skin( if you mix it with an oil and make your own consistency) i also like this because of how hydrated my skin feels like after wearing it.

This stuff is amazing!!! I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it as first. There is a little bit of a learning curve to application. For me the best way is this: apply a hydrating primer first (I’m using radiance base from RMS, also amazing) and then using less than a pea size I dot product all over using my fingers almost rubbing it in like a moisturizer but with a little bit more of a patting motion. Once applied I go back over it my face with a damp makeup sponge and viola! Full coverage natural looking skin. My skin has never looked better!!

i have over 50 foundations and i FINALLY found the best one!!! i have super dry skin and this doesn’t dry me out or cling to patches. i used a pea size amount on my forehead, chin and cheeks and that was plenty! blended my ur with my fingers then buffed with a sponge. medium buildable buildable coverage. i LOVE her

I can’t get past the smell.

This has a horrible smell to it. I wonder if I received an old jar.

natural but buildable foundation. I received a sample of it and was hooked and bought two shades, 00 and 77 for contouring. it looks very natural on my skin and lasts a long time.

I love this foundation. You don’t need a lot literally a pea size amount for your whole face. I like using a damp sponge or just my fingers and it’s such a beautiful finish. I’m combo/oily and I do set my oily areas but this plus the givenchy Libre powder.. chefs kiss. Absolute perfection.

A little goes a long way

I was skeptical since I read the reviews. I love this product. It’s light and clean, non irritating and no scent. I don’t use much, maybe half a pea sized amount. Do not use a lot. I haven’t used a lot but the half a pea is perfect for my whole face. I can see that those who get a little over zealous or think they need a squirt sized amount could end up Caked and clumped. Get a good brush and blend blend blend.

Buen maquillaje, con tono muy natural.

Me gusta muchísimo la textura y la forma de aplicarlo. También la cobertura que no queda pesado pero tengo la piel grasa y leí unos comentarios que no daban brillo y sinceramente sí que no deja una piel mate y conforme van pasando las horas va sacando brillo, no muy excesivo pero sí que da (tengo 45 años y la piel grasa, por si a alguien le sirve de ayuda mi opinión). Aunque es la única pega que le encuentro, por lo demás me parece muy buen maquillaje y cunde muchísimo, con muy poco producto puedes extenderlo bastante, por lo que, aunque puede resultar algo caro, a la larga creo que compensa. El tono también muy natural, yo compré el tono 22 y es un tono medio muy natural y bonito.

Exceptional product. And clean beauty?!? Love!!!

Ok, so I wore Tarte BB and Amazonian Clay Foundation and Powder for over 10 years. I also had been using Armani Silk Foundation since 2006 and would purchase a bottle to be used on and off since it was the only non-natural foundation that worked with my ultra sensitive skin. Tarte lost my business when they started to cheapen their formula whilst increasing their product line. Then they discontinued the foundations I wore. I X’ed the BB about 3 years ago when it became an overpriced junk.. To make-do I was using leftover Tarte with Hourglass Setting Powder and Dim Light, but then I ran out of Tarte and needed to find a replacement. Trouble. Ilia sounded like a good option - natural with sunscreen - however TO ME it smells like wet/canned dog food; which I don’t want to wear on my face. I went back to Armani Silk but for daily use, I lean towards natural formulas, so Armani was not going to cut it. I spent a ridiculous amount of time internally debating if I should bite the bullet and purchase this product because they don’t sell it at stores and I detest returning things. Also, the Sephora colour-matching either would connect me 33.5 or 11.5 and those colours are drastically different. Unlike the rule of thumb of “when in doubt go a shade lighter”, I sided with 33.5 and I’m so glad I did! I purchased the RMS Setting Powder in shade 2-3 which brings the overall colour to a perfect match and my make up looked great even after an afternoon workout plus 9hrs of use. Also, no make up transfer to my black pandemic mask (like Tarte did). I actually use Josie Maran 47 SPF Perfect/Protect, mixing it with the RMS Un-Cover Foundation plus powder and it becomes the perfect consistency for application and my skin beams happy without shine. I think the price point is just right. Completely worth it. Ps- It’s annoying to read reviews of people complaining about price. If you can’t afford it, shop within your means; not pray for them to drop the price.The Quality drops!

Decent

This is such a polarizing product and now I understand why. The first few hours, I dislike the look. It’s hard to blend. It provides light to light/medium coverage which is fine, but I can slap on other creams in a fraction of the time. Looks/feels heavy initially. However, the longer it’s on my face, the more it melts into my skin. I just don’t think the initial application and first few hours of looking odd are worth it.

Love this product. A little goes a long way and it’s easy to choose your level of coverage with it. Looks flawless on. I have sensitive, combo skin (dry except for t-zone). This foundation seems to keep me from getting shiny and works great over my sunscreen and moisturizer.

Thick coverage. Hard to get smooth even with beauty blender. Doesn’t play well with other products. Looks old fashioned
